Because a popular dialogue from politics was used as a movie title, everyone’s attention turned toward this movie. After Pawan Kalyan won for the first time as Pithapuram MLA, his fans had “Pithapuram MLA Thaluka” written on their bikes as well as cars in large numbers. At that time, it became a big sensation. It even created a stir on social media for a few days. With hero Ram’s new movie being titled Andhra King Thaluka, interest in this film also increased. One could even say that this helped the movie to some extent. Ram Pothineni has been struggling for some time without a proper hit. Director P. Mahesh Babu's film Miss Shetty.. Mr. Polishetty was only a moderate success. The movie titled Andhra King Thaluka was made in their combination. It released before the audience on Thursday. Bhagyashree Borse acted opposite Ram in this movie. The film was made with the tagline Bio Pic of Fan. As mentioned, the entire movie revolves around films. Everyone knows how fan wars are in Tollywood.

This film depicts exactly how the situation was—especially in the Godavari districts—around 25 years ago. In the story, when a fan learns that his favorite hero’s 100th film has been halted due to financial issues, he somehow deposits three crore rupees into the hero’s account. When the hero learns that an unknown fan has deposited such a massive amount of money for him, he is shocked and sets out to meet him. The film is made with a story that shows how the fan even sacrifices his own love for the hero he adores so deeply. In the movie, Upendra plays the fan's hero, Surya, while Ram Pothineni plays the fan, Sagar. Both did complete justice to their roles.

The combination of hero Ram and heroine Bhagyashree Borse is also appealing. The highlight of the movie is the emotions in the climax. These bring tears to the eyes of the audience. Even though Upendra’s role is limited, he makes a strong impact during his screen time. Rahul Ramakrishna tries to add humor here and there. Rao Ramesh and Murali Sharma also play very important roles. One could say this is a film that appeals mainly to people who are crazy about movies—because the entire film revolves around that. Even though the film’s runtime feels long, along with the emotions, at many points the movie feels slow. The highlight of the film is the important cast delivering both action and emotions.
