Vijay Deverakonda’s new film ‘Rana Baali’ is set to hit the screens during the Dasara festival season. The film, directed by Rahul Sankrityan, stars Rashmika Mandanna opposite Vijay Deverakonda. Since this is the first film the two are doing together after their marriage, there are huge expectations surrounding the movie. Actually, ‘Rana Baali’ was scheduled to release on September 11. However, the release was postponed due to Rashmika suffering a leg injury, along with various other reasons. The film’s team announced the new release date on Thursday. According to the announcement, the movie will hit theatres worldwide on October 16.
Made on a large budget with a period backdrop, the film is set to be released on a pan-India scale. Arnold, who appeared in ‘The Mummy’, will be seen as the villain in the movie. Director Rahul revealed in an interview that the scenes featuring hero Vijay and villain Arnold are expected to impress audiences. Several films from Tollywood are gearing up for release during the Dasara holidays, targeting the festive season. Vijay Deverakonda’s new film ‘Rana Baali’ has now joined that lineup. Mythri Movie Makers is producing the film, while T-Series is presenting it.
