Tollywood audiences are embracing family-oriented films wholeheartedly. This has been proven twice in the last 15 days. Viswanath and Sons, starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, is creating a storm at the box office. The fact that theatres are still running to full houses even in the second week of its release shows how strongly audiences have received the film. On the other hand, Irumudi, starring Ravi Teja, is also setting new records at the box office. Irumudi is getting more bookings than any film has received in recent times. Meanwhile, Viswanath and Sons, directed by Venky Atluri, has set a new record.
The film unit officially announced that the movie has grossed Rs. 200 crore worldwide. A new poster was also released on this occasion. The first half of Viswanath and Sons is packed with full entertainment. Although the second half slows down a little, the film has overall impressed audiences. Suriya, along with Mamitha Baiju and Radhika, has received widespread appreciation from the audience for their performances. The production house, Sithara Entertainments, made the film on a rich scale without compromising anywhere. G. V. Prakash composed the music for the film.
