The film Sigma, starring Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles, had generated considerable expectations from the beginning. The main reason for this was its director. The film marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay, son of former actor and current Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. This increased interest in the film among both industry circles and audiences. However, the film, which was released worldwide on October 2, failed to impress audiences. After making little impact at the box office, Sigma is now heading to OTT. The film will begin streaming on the popular OTT platform Netflix from October 30. In the film, the hero’s mother lovingly runs a library.

However, the debts incurred by his father create problems for him. Unexpectedly, the hero comes across a locker containing Rs. 1,000 crore. Whose locker is it? Does the hero receive any reward because of it, or not? This forms the crux of Sigma. Director Jason Sanjay chose a very simple story for his debut film. As the movie lacked major elements to keep audiences engaged, it had to face a disappointing result at the box office. Now, with the film arriving on OTT before even a month has passed since its theatrical release, it remains to be seen what kind of response it will receive.
