This Diwali, as many as four films are set to hit the screens. Among them, three have already been released, while the fourth film, “K Ramp,” is scheduled for release on Saturday. However, out of these four movies, the one that has caught everyone’s attention the most is “Telusukadha,” starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Raashi Khanna, and Srinidhi Shetty. Directed by Neeraja Kona, this film has created relatively more buzz compared to the others. Coming to Siddhu Jonnalagadda — after delivering two back-to-back super hits, he faced a setback with Jack. Hence, the result of Telusukadha has become quite crucial for this young hero.

The film was released worldwide on Friday. As for the story — the hero’s first love fails. This fact is revealed right at the beginning of the movie. However, who that girl is and how it happened is revealed only after the hero falls in love with another girl and marries her. Being an orphan, the hero dreams of falling in love, getting married, and living a complete family life. Even though his first love fails, he quickly marries another girl. But one day, they learn that they cannot have children. How the hero’s first lover helps him and his family with this issue, and how the problems that arise after the truth comes out are resolved — that’s the core of the story.

In Telusukadha, Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s dialogue delivery style reminds audiences of his earlier Tillu films. Through these dialogues and emotional scenes, Siddhu does complete justice to his role. Though there are two heroines, both have fairly routine roles — none of them stand out as particularly strong characters. Alongside the triangular love story, the practical life lessons Siddhu’s character shares connect well with the youth. The scenes between Siddhu and VIVA Harsha, who plays his friend, provide comic relief at various points. Thaman delivers an impressive background score that elevates the film. Overall, director Neeraja Kona has managed to carry the entire film well around a single fresh point in the story.
