Ravi Teja Locks Jan 13 Amid Sankranti Crowd

All the films competing in the upcoming Sankranti race have already locked their release dates. The first pan-India hero Prabhas’ film Raja Saab is set to release on January 9, while Chiranjeevi, starring in Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu, will arrive before audiences on January 12. This date was officially announced recently. Naveen Polishetty’s film Anaganaga Oka Raju is scheduled for release on January 14, and on the same day in the evening, the release muhurat for Sharwanand starrer Naari Naari Naduma Murari has been fixed. Amidst all these films, there were doubts about whether Ravi Teja’s film Bhartha Mahashayulaku Vignapthi would release or get postponed. However, Ravi Teja is not backing down and has locked January 13 as the release date.

                                            The film’s unit released the teaser on Friday and also gave clarity regarding the release date. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. With Ravi Teja’s film date also officially fixed, as many as five straight Telugu films are set to clash at the box office this Sankranti. In addition to these, dubbed films are also in the race. Now it remains to be seen who will emerge as the box-office hero of the 2026 Sankranti race. Meanwhile, going by the teaser of Bhartha Mahashayulaku Vignapthi released on Friday, it appears that Ravi Teja has changed his style. The entire teaser is presented in a fun-filled manner. It remains to be seen whether this film will bring Ravi Teja back onto the hit track.
