Ravi Babu enjoys a unique identity in Tollywood. He is known not only as a versatile actor but also as a distinctive filmmaker. However, in recent years, his films have struggled to achieve success at the box office. After a long gap, Ravi Babu returned to the big screen with Razor. Released on May 8, the film failed to make any significant impact at the box office. The action thriller's excessive violence also appeared to unsettle a section of the audience. In fact, the trailer itself had given viewers a glimpse of the intense violence featured in the movie. The film managed to collect less than ₹3 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
Despite its poor box-office performance, Razor is now set to make its digital debut. The makers have officially announced that the film will be available for streaming on Aha from June 19. The movie features Tanish Alladi, Inaya Sultana, Baby Tejal Vikhyat, and Banerjee in key roles. The film was jointly produced by Ravi Babu and Daggubati Suresh Babu, while Rajesh composed the music. It remains to be seen whether Razor will receive a better response from OTT audiences than it did in theatres.
