Ravi Teja has created history. For the first time in his career, one of his films has entered the Rs. 200 crore gross club. After a string of failures, Ravi Teja has bounced back with a blockbuster hit in the form of ‘Irumudi’. The film’s production house, Mythri Movie Makers, officially announced that Irumudi had grossed Rs. 200 crore worldwide as of September 1. The production house also shared a poster celebrating the Rs. 200 crore milestone on social media. The makers said the film was able to achieve this record because it was embraced by everyone, including children, adults and youngsters.

                                                Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Irumudi has been going strong with positive word of mouth right from its first-day-first-show. The film, starring Ravi Teja, recorded massive bookings on a scale never seen before for one of his movies. The film’s father-daughter emotional connection, along with the strong support from Lord Ayyappa devotees, played a key role in making Irumudi a blockbuster success. This is the first time a Ravi Teja film has recorded such massive collections not only in the Telugu states but also in the overseas market.
