Tollywood actor Satyadev is regarded as one of the industry's most versatile performers. However, he is yet to score a major blockbuster. His latest film, Rao Bahadur, was recently released in theatres. Although the movie received appreciation from critics, it failed to generate the expected box office collections. Now, Rao Bahadur is making its way to OTT. The film will begin streaming on Netflix from July 31. Netflix officially announced the release and confirmed that the movie will be available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film was originally released in theatres on July 3, and it is arriving on OTT in less than a month after its theatrical release.
The film was directed by Venkatesh Maha, who is known for acclaimed films such as C/o Kancharapalem and Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, which raised expectations for Rao Bahadur. The movie was presented by Tollywood star Mahesh Babu under his GMB Entertainment banner. While these factors helped create buzz around the film, they did not translate into strong box office collections. Deepa Thomas played the female lead opposite Satyadev in the film.
