Ram Charan’s Peddi has achieved yet another milestone. The film has grossed ₹400 crore worldwide within just 12 days of its release. The makers officially announced the achievement and unveiled a new look of Ram Charan. The team also revealed that Peddi has emerged as the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2026 so far. This is the first time that a solo Ram Charan starrer has entered the prestigious ₹400 crore club. While crossing the ₹300 crore mark itself was considered a major achievement, the film has now gone a step further by reaching ₹400 crore, much to the delight of Mega fans. Attention has now shifted to how much more the film can collect by the end of its theatrical run.
For director Buchi Babu Sana, this is only his second film, and it has already entered the ₹400 crore club, giving him yet another reason to celebrate. Janhvi Kapoor played the female lead opposite Ram Charan in the film. While Ram Charan’s performance received widespread appreciation, Janhvi Kapoor’s role drew considerable criticism. The director eventually apologized over the issue and even announced that certain scenes would be removed from the film. Peddi also features Jagapathi Babu and Shivarajkumar in key roles. Despite receiving mixed responses from audiences, the film’s ability to surpass the ₹400 crore mark at the box office has emerged as a significant achievement.
