Lenin is set to become the highest-grossing film in Akkineni Akhil's career. The film's production team officially announced that it has grossed over ₹61 crore worldwide within just three days of its release. According to the makers, the film had collected ₹37.2 crore gross in its first two days. However, they later announced that the worldwide gross had reached ₹61.1 crore by the end of the third day. This has now become a hot topic of discussion. There is no doubt that the film is receiving a good response from audiences, thanks to positive word of mouth. However, the claim that the film earned as much as ₹23.9 crore on Sunday alone has raised several questions. It is worth noting that the production team had earlier announced that Lenin collected ₹16.7 crore gross worldwide on its opening day.
Against that backdrop, the claim that the film earned nearly ₹24 crore on Sunday, July 12, has attracted considerable attention. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the film has received appreciation from audiences not only for Akhil's performance but also for the performance of actress Bhagyashri Borse. While Lenin enjoyed strong momentum over the weekend, it is evident that bookings began slowing down on Monday. As a result, it remains to be seen whether the film will eventually join the ₹100 crore gross club by the end of its theatrical run. According to Tollywood sources, Lenin has also received a positive response overseas, with collections continuing to grow in international markets.
