The comedy in the first half, especially, helped sustain the film. Korean Kanakaraju collected Rs. 10.20 crore worldwide on its first day. The film’s team officially announced that this total includes the premieres held on Thursday night. They also revealed that this is the highest first-day collection in Varun Tej’s career.

The background score provided by Thaman also played a key role in the film’s success. With weekend bookings also looking promising, it is being said that the collections of Korean Kanakaraju are certain to increase further in the coming days. It can be said that Korean Kanakaraju has given Varun Tej, who had been struggling for some time without a proper hit, a much-needed break.
