Jr NTR to Play Lord Kartikeya in Trivikram's Mythological Pan-India Film

At one time, whenever mythological roles in Telugu cinema were mentioned, the first name that came to mind was NTR. Few actors have portrayed as many mythological characters as he did. Whenever director Trivikram Srinivas and Jr NTR come together for a film, expectations are naturally sky-high. One can only imagine the excitement now that the duo is teaming up for Jr NTR's first full-fledged mythological film. Although Jr NTR has incorporated mythological elements in a few of his previous films, this will be his first complete mythological feature. The actor and Trivikram Srinivas had earlier worked together on Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. Over the past few days, producer Naga Vamsi had been dropping hints about a mythological film featuring the duo. The project has now been officially announced. Jr NTR will portray Lord Kartikeya in the film.

                                 Along with the production house, Jr NTR also shared the update on social media. In his post, he wrote: "Son of Lord Shiva... the pride of Goddess Parvati... Commander of the Devas... once again with Trivikram." The makers unveiled a theme poster announcing that the film will be a grand pan-India project based on mythological themes, starring Jr NTR and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film is being produced by S. Radha Krishna under the Harika & Hassine Creations banner along with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the NTR Arts banner. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music. Jr NTR is currently working on Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. The rest of the cast for this full-fledged mythological film, which marks Jr NTR's first venture into the genre, is yet to be announced.
