Megastar Chiranjeevi is in high spirits after the massive success of Mana Shankaravara Prasad. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the movie turned out to be a major box office entertainer during this year’s Sankranti season. It also emerged as the highest-grossing film in Chiranjeevi’s career. The film reportedly collected more than Rs. 300 crore gross worldwide. On Thursday, Chiranjeevi’s new film was officially launched. This marks the Megastar’s 158th film. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Chiranjeevi’s younger brother Pawan Kalyan gave the ceremonial clap for the movie launch. Another brother of Chiranjeevi, Nagababu, also attended the event.
The film is being directed by Bobby Kolli, who previously delivered the mass blockbuster Waltair Veerayya with Chiranjeevi. The project is being produced by KVN Productions under the banner of KVN Productions, with Venkat K. Narayana as the producer. Actress Anaswara Rajan was also present at the launch event. According to reports, she will be seen playing Chiranjeevi’s daughter in the movie. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Vishwambhara is already gearing up for release. Although shooting for the film was completed long ago, the makers are reportedly waiting for a suitable release date. Apart from these projects, Chiranjeevi is also working on another film with director Srikanth Odela, who earlier delivered the hit film Dasara starring Nani.
