Expectations were high as soon as a film featuring director Trivikram Srinivas and Venkatesh was announced. The film's title, Aadarsha Kutumbam, further raised expectations. The content released subsequently also generated considerable interest in the movie. However, the film's release was postponed twice, leading to doubts among audiences. Overcoming all these hurdles, Aadarsha Kutumbam (AK 47) hit theatres worldwide on Friday. Director Trivikram Srinivas has chosen a crime-based storyline that is currently in the news. There have been several incidents in which gangs from other states joined wealthy households as domestic workers, eventually murdered their employers and fled with their properties. The basic storyline of Aadarsha Kutumbam follows a similar pattern. A gang of burglars from Bihar carries out a series of robberies across several states before eventually reaching Telangana. Coincidentally, around the same time, the film's hero, Venkatesh, wins a lottery worth Rs. 100 crore.
Following this windfall, his family creates a sensation in Hyderabad with flex banners featuring their photographs. Soon after, the hero's family moves into the AK 47 Villa. At the same time, the gang, which has also arrived in Hyderabad, hatches a plan to rob Rs. 100 crore. As part of the plan, two members of the gang join Venkatesh's household as a driver and a domestic worker. Does the gang succeed in executing its plan? How does Venkatesh protect his family from the gang of robbers? That forms the crux of the film. The story also features an unexpected twist that audiences may not anticipate. Venkatesh and Srinidhi Shetty make an appealing pair in Aadarsha Kutumbam. After Venkatesh, it is Satya and Raghu Babu who provide most of the entertainment in the film. Except for Satya's comedy, most of the humorous sequences have already been shown in the teaser and trailer. As a result, audiences do not get many surprises in the film. Satya's comedy, however, offers some freshness.
Venkatesh impresses in two different shades of his character. He initially appears as a middle-class family man and later transforms into a wealthy family man. Srinidhi Shetty is also a perfect fit for her role. The gang of villains stands out as one of the highlights of the film. Nara Rohith, Rao Ramesh and Brahmaji appear in other important roles. However, Nivetha Pethuraj, who plays another significant character, does not have much importance in the story. Thaman's background score adds some energy to the storyline chosen by director Trivikram Srinivas. Production house Haarika & Hassine Creations has made the film on a lavish scale without compromising on production values. It can be said that Aadarsha Kutumbam is a completely different attempt from director Trivikram Srinivas. The film has more crime than comedy. Overall, it stands out as a time-pass entertainer from Trivikram.
