However, there's a key difference here: in this war, the U.S. was a direct participant and carried out massive strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. It is known that the U.S. supported Israel in this war. On Monday night, Iran attacked American military bases in Qatar and Iraq. However, Trump commented that these had no impact whatsoever. He stated that no harm came to any civilians or others in those countries. At a time when tensions between Iran and Israel had reached extreme levels, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the war that had been ongoing for the past 12 days between the two countries had come to an end. He congratulated both countries for agreeing to the ceasefire. "I believe everything will go as expected from now on… and it will. He attempted to explain that the ceasefire would happen in phases. He said Iran would initiate the ceasefire first, and 12 hours later, Israel would also stop its attacks. He further stated that both countries would honor this agreement. However, Iran reacted in various ways after Trump’s announcement. Not only that, but even after Trump’s declaration, Iran has launched fresh attacks on Israel. This has raised doubts about whether Trump’s announcement will actually be implemented.
