Naidu Criticizes Cabinet, Warns Ministers Over Poor Performance

Though Telugu Desam Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has no direct connection with films, he delivers film-like dialogues quite well. Sometimes he says, "You will see the old Chandrababu," and at other times, "You will see a new Chandrababu." He modifies these words according to his needs. On Wednesday, during the cabinet meeting held in Amaravati, he made some key remarks. He declared that except for himself, none of the ministers are working properly. This has sparked a discussion on whether this includes Jana Sena chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and TDP General Secretary and Minister for IT and Human Resources, Nara Lokesh. Since Chandrababu clearly stated that none of the ministers are performing satisfactorily, it is being said that there is no exemption for those two either. Now, it remains to be seen how Pawan Kalyan will respond to these remarks. Or will he remain silent, assuming the comments were not directed at him?

"The ministers are not performing satisfactorily. When a YSRCP leader humiliated a woman MLA, why didn't anyone react immediately? Every minister must stay alert regarding the ongoing conspiracies. We have significantly reduced the prices of essential commodities. The cabinet sub-committee worked hard to bring down prices and benefit the public. But they failed to convey these good deeds to the people. Find out how much the prices of essentials have dropped in Andhra Pradesh. It was Jagan who provoked farmers saying Indo-Sol shouldn't be given land. The same Jagan is now spreading false articles through his media claiming that industries are leaving the state. Chandrababu has taken this issue seriously—about emails being sent to various institutions to tarnish the government’s brand. He warned that he would order an inquiry into the conspiracies by YSRCP aimed at blocking investments. Minister Payyavula raised this point in the cabinet meeting, saying that YSRCP is conspiring to prevent investments from coming to the state.

The Finance Minister informed the CM that fake emails were sent to nearly 200 domestic and foreign companies, urging them not to invest in APMDC-issued bonds. Payyavula presented evidence to the CM that these emails were sent by YSRCP sympathizers. The CM said that YSRCP has always been implementing the strategy of committing mistakes and blaming opponents. The party has gotten used to blocking funds behind the scenes and spreading false propaganda that welfare schemes are not being implemented. He instructed the ministers to strongly take these matters to the public."
