The Telangana Cultural Association (TCA) successfully hosted its annual Vanabhojanalu Summer Picnic, bringing together families, friends, community leaders, and partner organizations for a vibrant celebration of culture, food, and togetherness. The gathering also served as a special celebration of Telangana Formation Day, honoring the rich heritage, traditions, and achievements of Telangana and its people. The event reflected the strong spirit of community participation, with a large turnout of attendees enjoying a wide range of homemade potluck dishes and traditional Telangana specialties. Highlights included freshly prepared Servapindi, Hyderabadi-style offerings, and other family recipes shared generously by participants, creating an authentic and diverse culinary experience. Sakinalu were specially air-shipped from Telangana for the event, adding an authentic festive touch that was deeply appreciated by attendees.

A standout culinary highlight was the freshly prepared saravapindi served onsite, followed by the much-loved Niloufer-style Irani chai, which together became one of the most appreciated combinations of the event. Along with freshly prepared samosas and other snacks, these specialties added a warm and authentic Telangana touch to the celebration. A key feature of the gathering was the collaborative food experience, where attendees shared dishes, engaged in games, and participated in community activities that strengthened cultural connection and social bonding across generations. The celebration of Telangana Formation Day added special significance to the event, providing an opportunity for community members to come together and honor their shared heritage and cultural identity. TCA extended its deepest gratitude to its dedicated TCA South Bay leadership team — including Anjaneyulu P, Gopikrishna G, and Sreedhar G — along with South Bay’s dedicated and incredible volunteers. Their extensive efforts in planning, coordination, logistics, setup, food arrangements, and on-ground execution were instrumental in the success of the event. Their commitment and selfless service were widely recognized as the backbone of the celebration.

TCA also profoundly thanks its outstanding volunteers whose hard work and dedication helped make the event a tremendous success, including Ananth A, Ashok C, Bhaskar M, Sudheer G, Madhav K, Rajkumar M, Satish A, Uday J, Yadagiri A, Mahesh D, Venkateshwarlu V, Maheshwar B, Sudhakar B (Galli Malli), Sunil G, Satish K and many more. Their willingness to serve, support, and contribute wherever needed exemplified the true spirit of volunteerism and community service that defines TCA. The TCA Executive Team also extended heartfelt appreciation to all the incredible volunteers and acknowledged their outstanding contributions in making the event a success. Special thanks was given by TCA Executive Team members Dhanunjaya B, Srinivasa G, Mahipal A, Vinoy M, Sagar K, GopiKrishna G, Anjaneyulu P, Sreedhar G, and Vijaya C, along with all Advisory Committee members whose guidance, support, and active involvement were invaluable throughout the planning and execution of the event.

The organization also acknowledged its sponsors and contributors, including MyPurusu, Sagar Kotha Real Estate Guru, Avachi Biryani House Cupertino, Ascend Speech and Debate, and other generous supporters whose contributions helped enhance the scale and experience of the event. Special appreciation was extended to media partners Telangana Times and CNBC18 for their continued support in covering and amplifying community initiatives. Young volunteers were also recognized for their active participation and enthusiasm, demonstrating leadership qualities and a strong sense of community responsibility. Their involvement added energy to the event and highlighted the importance of nurturing the next generation of community leaders. TCA also thanked participating community organizations, including Cupertino City Council, AIA, BATA, AMANA, Patashala, and several others, for their presence and encouragement, further strengthening inter-community collaboration and engagement.
