Israel Strikes Tehran Amid Rising Tensions

It appears that the United States has changed its plan regarding an attack on Iran. Although the US had already made several preparations to attack Iran, it now appears that it had Israel carry out the operation. Around 12 noon on Saturday, Israel launched attacks on Tehran, the capital of Iran. The attacks were carried out using missiles. According to reports, the strikes took place near the residences of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Israel officially announced that it was responsible for the attacks.

It is reported that senior Iranian leaders were the targets of this strike. However, there were media reports stating that Israel and the United States jointly carried out the attacks. Clarity is still awaited on this matter. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump stated that they do not intend to attack Iran, but made it clear that they will not accept Iran possessing nuclear weapons. With Israel launching another round of attacks on Iran, tension has risen over how many more turns this issue may take. As Iran may carry out retaliatory strikes, Israel has closed schools and taken several precautionary measures.
