Air India Express Flight Makes Hard Landing in Phuket

An Air India Express flight traveling from Hyderabad to Phuket in Thailand frightened passengers after encountering a problem during landing. The main reason was an issue with the landing gear, which caused the aircraft to hit the runway harder and at a higher speed than normal. This created panic among the passengers on board. Following the incident, the Phuket Airport runway was temporarily closed. Phuket Airport authorities issued a statement confirming this development. The Air India Express Boeing aircraft, which departed from Hyderabad on the morning of March 11, faced a serious issue during landing at Phuket, resulting in the front tyre of the aircraft coming off.

There were seven crew members and 131 passengers on board the flight. All the passengers were safely evacuated from the aircraft. Air India Express stated that no one on board suffered any injuries. The airline said there was a problem with the front wheel of the aircraft. According to an official statement, the crew followed all safety protocols and safely disembarked the passengers from the plane. Over the past few months, Air India flights have repeatedly frightened passengers due to technical issues. At a time when many had begun to forget these incidents, the hard landing in Phuket has once again brought Air India flights into the news.
