Flydubai Flight Incident: Co-Pilot Planned to Crash Plane? Shocking Details Emerge!
X

One detail after another is now emerging in the Flydubai flight incident. Indian pilot Smith Machar, who not only fought bravely inside the cockpit but also saved the lives of hundreds of passengers, is receiving praise from across the world. Details about the co-pilot who attacked Smith Machar, including his name and past history, have now come to light. According to these details, it appears that the co-pilot had clearly planned to crash the Flydubai aircraft. He had previously been subjected to a ban. This has also raised serious questions over how Flydubai Airlines assigned co-pilot duties to such a person. The co-pilot who allegedly attacked Smith Machar and attempted to crash the Flydubai aircraft has been identified as Hamam Al Hamami. Reports have emerged that official sources stated that his objective was to crash the Flydubai aircraft. Initially, Hamami allegedly planned to attack Indian pilot Smith Machar and take control of the aircraft. As part of this plan, he launched a serious attack on Machar. However, Machar resisted by risking his own life, causing Hamami’s plan to fail.

In 2024, he worked as a trainee co-pilot at Oman Air. During that period, while he was on duty, material related to extremist ideology was reportedly found in his possession. Following this, Oman Air dismissed him from the job. It was later found that the same organisation assigned him different responsibilities after some time. However, citing security reasons, the company banned him from travelling on aircraft. It said that the main reason was his promotion of extremist ideology. After material related to extremist ideology was found while he was on duty, Oman Air imposed a ban on Hamami. Despite the ban being in force, Flydubai Airlines employed him. He was allowed to operate a flight between the UAE and Israel. He worked for this company for eight months. Before that, he had worked for Oman Air for seven years. He resigned from Oman Air in February 2025. In June of the same year, he joined Royal Air Maroc. He resigned from that organisation in January this year and joined Flydubai.

Hamami spent most of his life outside Oman. After leaving Oman, he was in Syria, where he was reportedly attracted to extremist ideology. He later moved to the UAE. Hamam Al Hamami’s father is from the UAE, while his mother is from Syria. Following the incident in which he allegedly attacked Indian pilot Smith Machar aboard the Flydubai aircraft, Hamami has now been transferred from Saudi Arabia to the UAE. Authorities there are questioning him in connection with the terror attack. Oman generally does not recognise Israel. Against this backdrop, questions have arisen over how an Omani citizen was allowed to travel on a flight bound for Tel Aviv in Israel. Israeli agencies Shin Bet and Mossad, along with the military and transport ministries, are investigating how Hamami became part of the Flydubai flight crew. It has also been found that Hamami had suspicious posts on his social media Accounts.
