Delta Flight Engine Catches Fire Mid-Air, Major Disaster Averted

Another Boeing aircraft gave passengers a harrowing experience. Shortly after takeoff, flames erupted in the aircraft’s engine. The pilots noticed the issue and immediately landed the plane, thus averting a major disaster. This incident occurred in the United States. The Boeing 767-400 aircraft belonging to Delta Airlines was en route from Los Angeles to Atlanta when the incident took place. Passengers on board panicked after noticing flames coming from the plane’s left engine. The pilots acted swiftly and landed the aircraft safely, bringing relief to everyone on board. As soon as the plane landed, fire crews arrived and extinguished the flames in the engine. The U.S.-based Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has initiated an investigation into the incident. Delta Airlines has also confirmed the incident. However, the number of passengers on board has not been disclosed.

It is known that on June 12 of this year, a Boeing 737 Dreamliner aircraft belonging to Air India crashed, resulting in the death of all passengers except one. Since then, there has been widespread criticism of Boeing aircraft. Pilots have also strongly criticized the preliminary report released regarding that accident. It is known that there is anger over accusations being made against pilots as a way to cover up the company's faults. Even after the Air India accident, there have been reports of technical issues emerging in several Boeing aircraft. Now, flames have erupted in the engine of a Delta Airlines aircraft. There were also earlier reports that the FAA had identified issues with fuel switches in Boeing aircraft.
