Russia Secretly Backing Iran? Zelenskyy Makes Explosive Claim!

Iran may not have been able to stand up effectively against the United States and Israel in the past. However, in the recent conflict, it has managed to give both countries a tough time. It is well known that the United States is considered number one in the world in many aspects. Israel, on the other hand, is far ahead when it comes to advanced technology. In the joint attacks carried out by the US and Israel, Iran suffered heavy losses. Several key leaders were also killed. Even then, Iran did not appear to back down at any stage. In fact, even after losing its top leadership, it continued attacks on American bases located in Gulf countries. As a result, apart from the direct cost of the war, reports suggest that the damage caused by Iran to US bases in the Gulf could also be massive. At the same time, there is a growing discussion that the United States is suppressing these details from coming out publicly. The reason, many believe, is that if the extent of losses suffered at the hands of Iran becomes known to the world, it could damage America’s global image.
Meanwhile, there have long been reports that Russia is backing Iran from behind the scenes in this crucial conflict. In this context, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made sensational allegations. He stated that Russia is providing intelligence support to Iran in its war against the US and Israel, and claimed that Ukraine possesses undeniable evidence to support this. Zelenskyy said that Russia is helping Iran by using its intelligence systems to create instability in West Asia. He revealed that Russia is sharing information gathered through its radio-technical and electronic intelligence capabilities with the Iranian government. According to Ukrainian intelligence, this information has become crucial for Iran in carrying out attacks targeting American and allied assets. He further emphasized that this cooperation is not just a partnership between two allies, but a destructive act that poses a threat to global security. Zelenskyy remarked that the rulers of Russia and Iran are “brothers in hatred,” and that is why they have become partners even in military cooperation.
He also pointed out that Russia has been extensively using Iranian-made “Shahed” drones in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. In return, Russia is now reportedly providing Iran with advanced intelligence inputs, satellite imagery, and technology. Ukraine has urged the international community to respond immediately and stop this illegal exchange of intelligence. A few days ago, Zelenskyy had stated that Ukraine is providing technical assistance to Gulf countries to counter Iranian drones, and that many Ukrainian personnel have already been deployed there for this purpose. Now, it remains to be seen how the United States will respond to Zelenskyy’s statements. There is also a discussion that it is unlikely for the US to be unaware of such developments, and that international media had reported on similar issues in the past.
