Trump Flip-Flops Again, Sparks Global Debate Over Credibility

US President Donald Trump is showing no hesitation in changing his words. He is casually reversing his statements. The way he has been conducting himself in recent times has left the world nations astonished. Discussions are widespread that no American President in the past has behaved in such a manner. Especially, the way Donald Trump keeps changing his words is being seen as severely damaging his credibility. Now, Trump changing his words regarding Qatar, a friendly nation to the United States, has become a hot topic. As is well known, a few days ago, when a meeting of Hamas leaders was taking place in Doha, the capital of Qatar, Israel launched unexpected attacks at a level no one anticipated. This created a sudden stir worldwide.

Israel stated that it had informed the United States in advance about its attacks on the target locations in Doha. Initially, both the White House and US President Donald Trump acknowledged this. But suddenly now, Donald Trump has changed his words on the matter. He said that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu did not inform him in advance about the attacks on Qatar. Another striking point here is that Trump claimed Israel also assured that it would not attack Qatar again. Earlier, however, Trump had declared that Israel had given them prior information about the attacks and that they had also conveyed the same to Qatar. But Qatar clarified that they received information from the US only after the attacks had already taken place.

Regarding the ceasefire, Hamas leaders met in Doha based on America’s suggestion. It was during these talks that Israel carried out the attacks. Qatar took these attacks very seriously. Recently, several countries held a meeting and decided that it was time to give Israel a strong response. On the other hand, after the attacks, reports emerged that US President Donald Trump had sent strong warnings to Netanyahu. Trump reportedly told him that Qatar was a highly trusted ally of the United States and that any decisions concerning that country must be taken with utmost care. Now, it remains to be seen how many more twists this issue will take in the coming days.
