Donald Trump Behind Pakistan’s Latest Provocations?!

On one side, tariff blows. On the other side, provocations in collusion with India’s arch-enemy Pakistan? Without the backing of U.S. President Donald Trump, can Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir make such brazen statements against India from his country’s soil? The answer would certainly be a firm no. Munir stated that if India builds dams on the Indus River, once they are completed, Pakistan will blow them up with missiles. He also warned that if a threat to their existence arises from New Delhi, they will destroy half the world along with themselves, emphasizing that theirs is a nuclear-armed nation. Pakistan, which pleaded to stop the war during the blow of Operation Sindoor, is now acting in such an aggressive manner — a development widely believed to be encouraged by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Within two months after Operation Sindoor, this is Munir’s second visit to the U.S. The first time, he had dinner with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House. With India refusing to agree to Trump’s demands on tariffs, Trump is said to be fuming. He accused India of buying oil from Russia and announced 50% tariffs on all Indian goods. Even then, India firmly stated it would not bow to such pressures, pushing Trump into a more difficult position. On the other hand, experts predict that Trump’s decisions could plunge the U.S. itself into a severe crisis. At such a time, discussions suggest that Trump seems to be working not only to provoke India in coordination with Pakistan but also to create an atmosphere of uncertainty. It remains to be seen how many more twists these developments will take in the coming days.
