Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar Named Supreme Court ASG

TDP senior leader and former MP Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar has been appointed to a key position at the Centre. The Central Government has appointed him as an Additional Solicitor General (ASG) in the Supreme Court. In this regard, the Central Government issued a notification on Tuesday. Along with Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, Davinder Pal Singh has also been appointed to this post. As per the decision of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, orders were issued appointing two new persons to the posts of Additional Solicitor General. They will serve in this position for a term of three years.
Meanwhile, Telugu Gateway.com had published news on December 13 itself stating that Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar would get this post. It was also mentioned that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had recommended his name for this position at the Centre. In line with this, he has now secured this key post. On the other hand, party sources say that the close relationship Kanakamedala has with Minister Nara Lokesh, who plays a key role in Andhra Pradesh affairs, has also helped in this matter.
