NTR Fans Demand Suspension of TDP MLA Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad

NTR fans are not backing down in the matter of Anantapur Urban TDP MLA Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad. State convener of NTR fans, Narendra Chaudhary, demanded that the MLA, who made inappropriate comments on their hero NTR and also criticized his mother at will, be suspended from the TDP. He stated that though the TDP is a party that gives great respect to women, this MLA spoke unnecessarily and disrespectfully about a woman—NTR’s mother. He demanded that the MLA tender a public apology within two days; otherwise, they will begin their course of action. He clarified that while they all remain in TDP, they are also fans of NTR. However, they never mix politics and cinema, but Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad along with a few other leaders occasionally make improper remarks about their hero NTR, testing the patience of NTR fans, he criticized.
Therefore, they said this time they are serious about the matter, and if he does not apologize, they have already decided on the action to take. Representatives of NTR fan associations spoke to the media on Wednesday at the Press Club in Hyderabad. They questioned who he was to stop a movie in Anantapur after the government had already given permission. If he had objections, he should have spoken to the government beforehand and ensured the stoppage of the NTR movie in Anantapur, they said. Instead, calling up fans and speaking arbitrarily is not the right approach, they warned. Now, everyone is keenly watching how the TDP will respond to the demand of NTR fans. Meanwhile, they said that initially they had decided to hold a press meet in Anantapur itself on the matter of Daggubati Venkateswara Prasad, but due to extreme pressure from the police, it was not possible. They added that a similar situation was faced in Vijayawada, where a large police force was deployed near the Press Club, and no one was allowed inside.
As a result, they said they all had to come together before the media in Hyderabad. The audio that surfaced during the release of War 2, allegedly of MLA Venkateswara Prasad speaking with leaders of the NTR fans association, created a huge uproar. The MLA claimed it was fake and said he had complained to the SP about it. Yet, he released a video saying he apologized if NTR fans were hurt. This raised discussions on why he needed to apologize if it was really fake. Reports also emerged that Chief Minister Chandrababu expressed anger over this issue, leading many to believe that the incident was indeed true. That is why NTR fans are responding very seriously in this matter. Now, it remains to be seen how many twists this issue will take in the coming days.
