Kavitha Blames Harish Rao, Santosh Rao for KCR’s Troubles

BRS chief KCR’s daughter and MLC Kavitha, after returning from her U.S. tour, made sensational comments in Hyderabad on Monday. For some time now, there has been talk that she was rebelling against the party targeting her brother, BRS working president KTR. Her earlier signals also suggested the same. But suddenly, speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Monday, she made sensational remarks against BRS senior leader and former minister Harish Rao, and former MP Santosh Rao. She said that in the matter of Kaleshwaram project corruption, it was former minister Harish Rao who played the biggest role. Because of him, KCR has now been tainted with corruption, she said. That was why Harish Rao was sidelined and not given the Irrigation Ministry in the second term, Kavitha alleged. She claimed it was because of Harish Rao, Megha Krishna Reddy, and Santosh Rao that this name came about. KCR never had any obsession for food or money, she said… his thoughts were always for Telangana and nothing else. Kavitha alleged that behind Harish Rao and Santosh Rao stood CM Revanth Reddy, and that is why he was protecting them. She accused that all of them together were targeting only KCR.

She further said that if she speaks now, people will claim there is someone behind her, but in reality, amidst the anacondas of corruption, KCR was becoming the sacrificial goat. She alleged that false propaganda was being spread against her on social media and warned that in the coming days the truth about them will be known. She said that the Revanth government, holding her father responsible for irregularities in the Kaleshwaram project, has ordered a CBI inquiry, and this was burning her inside. She stated that it was because of Harish Rao and Santosh Rao that KCR had landed in this situation… and that using KCR’s name, Harish and Santosh amassed huge wealth. For Harish Rao and Santosh Rao, money was the only goal, she alleged. “If my father’s reputation is ruined, what loss do they have?” MLC Kavitha said to the media, breaking into tears. Finally, she questioned what use it was whether the party existed or not, once the situation had come to the point of a CBI probe on KCR. She asked what was the reaction within the party when CM Revanth Reddy announced in the Assembly on Sunday that a CBI inquiry was being ordered. She said it was clear that Revanth Reddy’s order for a CBI probe was part of a pre-planned idea. When so many agencies exist in the state, why hand it over to the CBI? This clearly shows it was all done according to a scheme, Kavitha said. She remarked that the Revanth Reddy government is one of more propaganda and less work. She also said that Harish Rao and Santosh Rao had conspired against her many times. As KCR’s daughter, she expressed that she was deeply pained today.
