Kavitha’s Shocking Claims Leave BRS Leaders Divided and Silent

Kavitha’s Shocking Claims Leave BRS Leaders Divided and Silent
X

Something is happening inside the BRS. Even the party leaders themselves are not able to understand it now. Former CM KCR’s daughter, MLC Kavitha, for the first time, directly named people and launched an attack. She leveled serious corruption allegations against former minister Harish Rao, former MP Santosh Rao, and Megha Engineering Company head Megha Krishna Reddy. She declared that they are the ones behind the corruption in the Kaleshwaram project and that because of them, KCR’s name got stained with corruption. It is well known that from the beginning, key leaders like KTR and Harish Rao, on behalf of KCR, had been repeatedly claiming that there was no corruption at all in the Kaleshwaram project. But now, at a time when CM Revanth Reddy’s government has ordered a CBI probe into the matter, Kavitha sent out clear signals to the public that massive corruption indeed took place. Not only that, she also made sensational remarks saying that Harish Rao was kept away from the Irrigation Ministry for the second time because his corruption was known. This has suddenly created a huge storm within the BRS.

Strangely, without directly condemning Kavitha’s allegations of corruption against Harish Rao and Santosh Rao, the BRS social media handles, on behalf of the party’s working president and former minister KTR, posted movie dialogues praising Harish Rao such as “Half-foot bullet” and “A lion comes alone.” KTR even posted on his social media account saying, “From this capable disciple of KCR (Harish Rao), Congress MLAs and ministers unwillingly learned a lot about irrigation—I am certain about that.” Neither KTR nor the BRS party anywhere condemned the corruption allegations made by Kavitha against Harish Rao and Santosh Rao. Because of this, various discussions are taking place within the party itself. Some leaders are also expressing doubts whether an attempt is being made to push the Kaleshwaram corruption allegations onto Harish Rao and Santosh Rao so that it could be said everything happened without KCR’s knowledge.

Kavitha herself said that since Harish Rao’s corruption was known, KCR sidelined him from the Irrigation Ministry for the second time. But within the BRS leaders, there has always been a belief that in the nine-and-a-half years of the party’s rule, nothing in government happened without the knowledge of KCR and KTR. Former BRS ministers themselves say this was even stronger in the second term. Based on Kavitha’s statements, it is indirectly implied that although it was known that Harish Rao indulged in corruption in Kaleshwaram, unlike with Rajaiahand Etela Rajender, KCR did not take any action against him and spared him.
