With the post he shared on Instagram, the wedding has now become official. As a token of the love their fans have been showing towards them, Vijay Deverakonda revealed that they are naming their wedding “Wedding of Virosh,” just as their fans fondly call them. Thanking everyone for the love they have been receiving, he showered praise on the fans, saying that they will always be with them.

Their wedding will take place on February 26 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. After that, a reception has been arranged in Hyderabad. Only a very limited number of guests will attend the wedding. Rashmika and Vijay left from Hyderabad to Udaipur early on Monday morning for the wedding. The photos and videos related to this are currently going viral on the internet. It has already been reported that after the wedding, a grand reception will be organized in Hyderabad on March 4, 2026, for Tollywood and political dignitaries.

The pair first appeared together on the silver screen with the 2018 film Geetha Govindam and delivered a blockbuster hit with that movie. Later, they acted together in Dear Comrade. They are also acting together in Ranabali, whose title has already been announced. This film will be released after their wedding. As the on-screen pair is now set to become real-life partners, social media is flooded with congratulatory messages. For the past few years, there have been reports that Vijay and Rashmika are in love. However, they never confirmed it. They used to say that they would speak about it at the right time. Now, they are directly set to tie the knot.
