Vijay-Trisha Story Takes a Surprise Turn!

Tamil Nadu Assembly elections created as much buzz around actress Trisha as they did around Vijay. The primary reason was the comments made by Tamil Nadu BJP president Nainar Nagendran. His remark that “Trisha should come out of Vijay’s house first” sparked a major controversy at the time, eventually forcing Nagendran to issue an apology. While that controversy erupted before the elections, Trisha’s name once again became a major talking point after the election results, when Vijay’s TVK emerged as the single largest party. There was widespread speculation that Vijay would induct Trisha into his cabinet. There were also reports that Trisha would contest from the Tiruchirappalli East constituency, which Vijay was expected to vacate after resigning from the seat. In the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Vijay contested from both Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East and won from both constituencies. He later relinquished the Tiruchirappalli East seat after becoming Chief Minister. According to reports, popular actor Raghava Lawrence is likely to contest from the vacant constituency.

Meanwhile, both before and after the elections, Vijay and Trisha were seen together at several events. Trisha was also one of the main attractions at Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony. Until recently, the two continued to maintain a close association. However, a sudden shift occurred when reports surfaced that Vijay and his wife Sangeetha might reconcile. In fact, the two had reportedly already filed a divorce petition in court. Following Vijay’s elevation as Chief Minister, developments moved quickly, and reports suggesting that Vijay and Sangeetha would reunite became a major talking point. Recent developments appear to indicate that these reports may indeed be true. Most recently, Trisha remained silent on Vijay’s birthday and did not post any wishes, which has become a subject of widespread discussion. There is speculation that Trisha decided to distance herself from Vijay because of reports that Vijay and Sangeetha are set to resolve their differences and reunite.

Adding further fuel to the speculation, Trisha has reportedly unfollowed Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay on Instagram. Vijay and Trisha are regarded as one of Kollywood’s most popular on-screen pairs. While their chemistry on screen enjoys immense popularity, social media has been filled with even greater speculation about their real-life bond. Until a few days ago, reports suggesting that Vijay and Trisha would get married after Vijay’s divorce were also doing the rounds. For the same reason, when TVK won the recent Assembly elections, many celebrities and netizens congratulated Trisha as well. Her visit to Vijay’s residence on the day of the election results once again brought their relationship into the spotlight. Now, however, the entire situation appears to have taken a completely different turn.
