Nani’s The Paradise Sets New Record

Some people have been strongly criticising hero Nani's attempts to build a mass image. These criticisms increased further, especially after the release of The Paradise. Once upon a time, a Nani film meant a minimum guarantee, and his movies were suitable for the entire family to watch together. However, for some time now, Nani has been experimenting with different kinds of films. The movies Dasara and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, which he made with the intention of building a mass image, achieved good success at the box office. The Paradise, which came in the combination of Nani and Dasara director Srikanth Odela, failed to impress a large section of the audience. However, the film has helped Nani achieve a new record in his career.

Until now, Hit 3 was said to be Nani's highest-grossing film at the box office. The film reportedly earned a gross of around Rs. 121 crore. Now, The Paradise has broken all those records and collected a worldwide gross of Rs. 155 crore within just four days of its release. The film unit officially announced this. However, bookings dropped drastically from Monday. As a result, the collections are also likely to fall significantly in the coming days. It remains to be seen whether the film will enter the Rs. 200-crore gross club by the end of its theatrical run.
