Pawan Kalyan’s Strategic Move Behind Hari Hara Veera Mallu Release in AP

Janasena chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister has made a big move. What appears on the surface is one thing... what's happening underneath is something else. In Andhra Pradesh, the film Hari Hara Veera Mallu has now become a big issue. The way Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Janasena’s Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh responded regarding this movie has surprised not only political circles but also officials. After overcoming many problems, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan, has finally locked its release date. The movie is set to release worldwide on June 12. Like all films, this one also wants to increase ticket rates. However, the hero of the film is the state’s Deputy Chief Minister... and the Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh belongs to Janasena. So, from any angle, this issue becomes sensitive. That's why, as soon as the matter of theaters came to the forefront, a statement was released in the name of the Deputy Chief Minister’s office. The key point in that statement is that from now on, there will be no room for personal requests or discussions. Only discussions with the representatives of the relevant department will take place, and those will be sent to the respective departments—this is the most crucial point.
So, as per this logic, the producer of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, A. M. Ratnam, will submit a petition with the expenses and other details of the film to the industry body handling these affairs. They will go to the government with this proposal. Meaning, neither Pawan Kalyan nor his producer will appear anywhere in the matter of ticket rate hikes. So, to get a clear line for the ticket rate hike for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, it is the industry body that will approach the government. In AP, the ticket rates for this movie will be decided by the committee recently appointed by the government. This committee includes officials from various departments and also film producer Vivek Kuchibhotla. Industry circles say that he is a business partner of People's Media head T.G. Vishwa Prasad, who is known to be very close to Pawan Kalyan. So, industry representatives will go to finalize the ticket rates for Hari Hara Veera Mallu in AP, without the producer having to directly make the request, according to reliable sources.
However, there is widespread talk in Tollywood that some producers, including a top production house that has recently been making big films, and another loose-tongued producer, tried to acquire Hari Hara Veera Mallu from A. M. Ratnam at a very low price. This is said to be the reason behind Pawan Kalyan's anger. It is also said that Pawan Kalyan is stepping in to put brakes on the matter of leasing cinema theaters in the coming days. Mainly, due to a few individuals controlling a bulk of the theaters, problems are arising. Hence, information suggests that there are plans to ensure that only actual theater owners operate them directly, and only then will facilities like ticket rate hikes be permitted. Behind-the-scenes discussions are said to be underway in this direction. The government has not officially taken up this task. Therefore, there is a strong effort unofficially to prevent a few people from controlling theaters. Tollywood circles say that actions in this direction are likely to start soon in both Telugu states. Tollywood sources reveal that Pawan Kalyan is going to play a key role unofficially in this entire matter. Whatever it may be, we now have to wait and see to what extent ticket prices for Hari Hara Veera Mallu will be increased in Andhra Pradesh. Initially, a GO (Government Order) for a ticket rate hike is expected in AP... and it is said that the same model may be followed in Telangana afterward.
