Mirai Storms Box Office: ₹55.6 Cr in Just Two Days

The movie Mirai, starring Teja Sajja and Manchu Manoj in key roles, is creating a storm at the box office. In just two days, the film has grossed ₹55.60 crores worldwide. On its opening day, the movie collected ₹27.20 crores, and remarkably, on the second day, it surpassed the first day’s collections. On its second day alone, the film grossed ₹28.40 crores worldwide. Collections are expected to rise further this Sunday. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film is receiving rave reviews from the audience. In recent times, it is one of the few movies to receive such unanimous positive talk, and Mirai stands out in that list.
However, reports that HD piracy copies of this highly acclaimed film have surfaced in large numbers are causing concern for the makers. Still, everyone who has watched the film agrees that the theatrical experience is essential to truly feel the thrill of Mirai. The action sequences and VFX effects deliver the best impact only on the big screen. On the other hand, despite the hype surrounding the film, the makers decided not to increase ticket rates, and released the movie at the existing prices.
