After Box Office Success, Samantha's Maa Inti Bangaram Heads to OTT

Maa Inti Bangaram, which arrived at the box office with almost no expectations, turned out to be a blockbuster success. Starring Samantha in the lead role, the film was released worldwide on June 19. It also created a sensation by becoming one of the rare female-led films in recent times to cross the ₹100 crore mark at the box office. Directed by Nandini Reddy, the film features Samantha in the lead role. Samantha herself revealed that many people had expressed doubts about the project before its release. However, she said the box office result turned out to be completely different from what many had expected, proving that the team's belief in the film was justified. After its impressive theatrical run, the film is now set to make its OTT debut.

Maa Inti Bangaram will begin streaming on Jio Hotstar from July 17. Notably, the film is arriving on OTT in less than a month after achieving remarkable success in theatres. Apart from Samantha, the film also stars Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami, and Sreemukhi in key roles. Following the film's success, Samantha's husband and director Raj Nidimoru recently announced that a sequel to Maa Inti Bangaram is being planned and is expected to be made within the next two years. He said this is the first time he has felt inspired to make a sequel to one of his films and added that the upcoming installment will offer double the fun and double the excitement.
