Akhil Akkineni's Lenin to Stream on ZEE5: OTT Release Date Out

There is little doubt that 2026 will remain one of the most memorable years in Akhil Akkineni's life. Despite spending several years in the film industry without delivering a single hit, the actor found a new lease of life with Lenin. The film's team recently officially announced that it had grossed ₹100 crore worldwide. However, there are several doubts surrounding those collection figures. Setting the box office numbers aside, it can safely be said that Lenin has given Akhil the hit he had been waiting for. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the film stars Bhagyashri Borse opposite Akhil. The performances of both lead actors, in particular, received widespread appreciation from audiences.

If the producers' claim is accurate, Lenin will become the first film in Akhil's career to cross the ₹100 crore gross mark. After its successful run at the box office, the film is now gearing up for its OTT release. The digital streaming rights of Lenin have been acquired by ZEE5, and the film will begin streaming on the platform from August 7, the OTT platform announced. Lenin was released in theatres worldwide on July 10. The film features music composed by Thaman, while Naga Vamsi and Nagarjuna bankrolled the project under the Sithara Entertainments banner.
