Rajini 173 Gets a Powerful Title

Whenever a new Rajinikanth film is announced, expectations automatically soar. One can only imagine the excitement when a film starring Rajinikanth is being produced by another superstar, Kamal Haasan. That is exactly what is happening now. Rajinikanth’s new film is being produced under Kamal Haasan’s home banner, Raj Kamal Films International. The makers officially unveiled the title of the film on Wednesday. This will be Rajinikanth’s 173rd film, and the title has been finalized as Dharman – The Deadly Doctor. Simran and Raashii Khanna are playing key roles in the movie. Directed by young filmmaker Ashwath Marimuthu, the film’s first look has generated considerable interest. The title launch event was held on Wednesday. Speaking at the event, Rajinikanth revealed that four directors were changed before the project finally took shape.

Addressing the gathering, Rajinikanth said that he now feels afraid to speak on public platforms. He remarked that whatever he says tends to become a controversy these days. He added that it creates problems not only for him but also for others. Rajinikanth said he has realized that people who do not like someone will never appreciate anything that person does. The action entertainer is being directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, who impressed audiences with Dragon. The director revealed that the film will feature eight songs, each of them distinct from the others. Kamal Haasan, who is producing the film, made a light-hearted remark during the event. He said that usually a hero remains relaxed while the producer is under pressure, but in the case of this film, Rajinikanth is not allowing anyone to sleep.
