Kiran Abbavaram Scores Career-Highest Opening With Chennai Love Story

Chennai Love Story, which hit theatres amid high expectations, has made a strong start at the box office. The film, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gowri Priya in the lead roles, has collected ₹12.3 crore worldwide on its first day, the film's team officially announced. The total includes the collections from the paid premieres held on Thursday. Directed by Ravi Namburi, this emotional love drama has received a mixed response from audiences. Despite the mixed reviews, its box office collections have remained encouraging.
Advance bookings for Saturday have also been promising. Notably, this marks the highest first-day collection in Kiran Abbavaram's career. The film features music composed by Mani Sharma, while the story has been written by Sai Rajesh. While a majority of viewers felt that the first half of the film was engaging, the second half received considerable criticism. At the same time, many audiences were of the opinion that the film's length turned out to be a major drawback.
