Dil Raju’s Thammudu Crashes in Theatres, Finds Second Chance on OTT

Dil Raju's film Thammudu flopped miserably at the box office. Even though the film’s hero Nithiin had confidently stated that he would definitely bounce back with Thammudu, it didn’t work out. He had said during the film’s event that he wouldn’t repeat past mistakes and that only good films would come from him going forward. However, after the release, the result turned out to be disastrous. Not only that, but reports also suggested that this film's failure might affect Nithiin’s future projects as well. Having witnessed a terrible outcome at the box office, the film is now heading to OTT.

From August 1st, this movie will stream on the popular OTT platform Netflix. It will be available in Telugu, as well as Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Thammudu was directed by Venu Sriram, and senior actress Laya made her re-entry through this film. The music was composed by Ajaneesh Loknath. Varsha Bollamma and Saptami Gowda played the female leads. The only somewhat unique aspect in the entire movie was the villain character played by Saurabh Sachdeva.
