Balakrishna-Koratala Siva Film Officially Announced

Nandamuri Balakrishna is on a roll. At a time when many young Tollywood heroes are taking two to three years to complete a single film, Balakrishna continues to sign and work on projects one after another. He is currently starring in NBK 111, which is being directed by Gopichand Malineni. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead opposite Balakrishna in the film. Initially, Nayanthara was considered for the role, but changes were later made due to budget constraints. While work on NBK 111 is still underway, the makers have now fixed the muhurtham for NBK 112. The film will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Koratala Siva. News about the project emerged a few days ago, and it has now been officially announced.
The film is being jointly produced by SLV Cinemas, owned by prominent producer Cherukuri Sudhakar, and Yuva Sudha Arts, owned by Mikkilineni Sudhakar. The project will be formally launched with a pooja ceremony on June 25 at the Venkateswara Swamy Temple operated by TTD in Venkatapalem, Amaravati. Andhra Pradesh ministers Nara Lokesh and Kandula Durgesh are expected to attend the event. Given the powerful combination of Koratala Siva and Balakrishna, the project has generated huge expectations. There was widespread speculation earlier that Devara 2, starring NTR and directed by Koratala Siva, would be the director's next project. However, that project has not moved forward. Instead, Koratala Siva's film with Balakrishna is now set to commence.
