Everything is ready for the release of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Tandavam. The movie is set to arrive before audiences worldwide on December 5. A day earlier, on December 4, the Andhra Pradesh government has given the green signal to screen premiere shows for this film. At the same time, permission has also been granted for an increase in ticket prices. To this effect, the government issued a GO on Tuesday. According to it, the ticket price for the premiere shows on December 4 has been fixed at ₹600. For regular shows, the government has allowed an increase of ₹75 in single screens and ₹100 in multiplexes. The GO mentions that these increased ticket rates will remain in effect for a total of ten days.

It is known that there are massive expectations on Akhanda 2: Tandavam, made in the combination of Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu. The earlier film Akhanda from this duo also became a super hit. Since Thaman’s background music played a crucial role in the success of that film, Balakrishna’s fans are now highly curious about how the music will be in Akhanda 2. Recently, at an event, Thaman commented that everyone should get their “music boxes ready,” further raising expectations. The film unit says that in Telangana too, there is a possibility of getting permission for premiere shows along with ticket rate hikes.
