Balakrishna Injured While Filming Action Sequence at Kakinada Port

Senior actor Nandamuri Balakrishna sustained an injury during the shooting of his upcoming film. He is currently starring in NBK111, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film is presently being shot at Kakinada Port. The accident occurred while an action sequence was being filmed. According to reports, Balakrishna suffered a knee injury. He was immediately shifted to a hospital, where he received first aid. He was later taken to another hospital for a scan, after which doctors examined the injury and advised him to take some time off for rest. Director Gopichand Malineni revealed on X that, as per the doctors' advice, Balakrishna will have to undergo a minor surgery to ensure a full and speedy recovery.
The previous collaboration between Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni, Veera Simha Reddy, was a box office success. As a result, expectations are high for their upcoming film as well. The makers are planning to release NBK111 during the Sankranti festival next year. Kajal Aggarwal is playing the female lead opposite Balakrishna. Gopichand Malineni also said that Balakrishna's discipline and hardworking nature have been a great source of inspiration for everyone on the #NBK111 team. He added that fans need not worry and expressed hope that Balakrishna would recover quickly and return to the sets soon.
