Andhra Pradesh IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh made key remarks regarding cricket matches. He said that if India reaches the final of the T20 World Cup, he will attend that match as well, and added that if he goes to watch the match, he will even buy a ticket for Jagan. It is known that recently Nara Lokesh, along with party MP Sana Satish, went to Sri Lanka to watch the India–Pakistan cricket match. YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized this, questioning why one should go to Sri Lanka to watch a cricket match when it can be watched on television at home. In response, Nara Lokesh made these comments while interacting with the media in the Assembly on Monday. There is discussion that through his remarks, Nara Lokesh has given a counter to all those who criticized him over attending cricket matches. On the other hand, he alleged that during the five years of YSRCP rule, Sakshi and Bharathi Cements benefited to the tune of ₹1,000 crore from the government.
He stated that their company Heritage did not receive even a single rupee from the government. He said it was strange that Botsa Satyanarayana described Indapur Dairy as a co-company of Heritage. Nara Lokesh said that even without any evidence, a complaint was filed with SEBI against Heritage. He questioned whether Botsa did not know that there is no concept of a “co-company.” Nara Lokesh also tried to give clarity regarding his cordial meetings with MLAs. He said there had been a long gap after Yuva Galam, and that is why he is now meeting not only MLAs but also their family members. He stated that there is no scope for political discussions in those meetings. He also remarked that if ghee is available anywhere at ₹360 per kilogram, it is adulterated ghee.
