The latest US warning came at a time when Yemen-based Houthi rebels announced that they had carried out missile and drone attacks on Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Iran has reportedly put forward seven conditions to the US to bring an end to the West Asian war that has been continuing for the past seven months. Reports said Iran warned that it was prepared for a decisive war if its demands were not accepted. These conditions were conveyed to the US through Qatar. However, there has been no response from Trump so far. Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, said that the US must definitely accept Iran’s demands if Iran is to participate in talks. “We sent seven conditions to the US through Qatar, which is acting as a mediator, with the objective of ending the war,” he said. He explained that the conditions include ending the war, releasing Iranian assets frozen by the US, and lifting the US blockade on shipping routes. Rezaei made it clear that it was up to the US to decide whether or not to accept the conditions.
At the same time, he said Iran had no intention of violating the agreements it had previously reached to stay away from nuclear tests, but that US actions were creating circumstances that could force Iran to take such decisions. He also stated that Iran remains committed to its religious laws opposing nuclear weapons. On the other hand, international media reported that a B-1 bomber had departed from RAF Fairford in the UK. Following this, reports are circulating that the US is once again preparing for war against Iran. Iran is also reportedly said to have issued a high alert. However, there is no clarity yet on whether the B-1 bomber is heading towards Iran or another region.
