US Claims Major Success in Iran Strikes, More Attacks Ahead

Update: 2026-04-02 04:50 GMT

The entire world was eagerly waiting to see what announcement US President Donald Trump would make regarding the war on Iran. However, his statement came as a surprise to many. That is because there was nothing new in it—he simply repeated what he has been saying over the past few days. As a result, crude oil prices surged once again, and stock markets in several countries tumbled. The Indian stock market also witnessed a similar downturn. Donald Trump stated that the United States has successfully achieved its primary objectives in the ongoing military operations against Iran. He said the attacks have reached a crucial phase, but will continue until the enemy is completely weakened. According to Indian Standard Time, Trump addressed the nation on Thursday morning. He claimed that Iran has suffered severe damage due to the war. He said key Iranian leaders have been eliminated, and that Iran’s navy and air force have been completely destroyed. Trump added that “Operation Epic Fury” was necessary to ensure the security of the United States.

He further claimed that Iran has been prevented from developing nuclear weapons and even suggested that there has been a change in leadership within Iran. Trump remarked that for the past 47 years, Iran has been seeking the destruction of the United States and Israel. He said the US is becoming stronger and that Iran is now facing consequences for its actions. Highlighting his administration’s achievements, Trump said he has corrected the mistakes of previous presidents. Referring to the October 7 attack on Israel, he claimed it resulted in the deaths of 45,000 civilians. Trump also clarified that Iran can use the Strait of Hormuz for its own purposes, and that the US does not depend on oil from the region. He emphasized that the United States has abundant domestic oil reserves. He added that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen once the crisis ends and expressed confidence that the war will conclude soon.

He said that talks with Iran are ongoing and denied exerting pressure for a regime change. Trump stated that the war is being fought for the future of American citizens. However, in a striking announcement, he warned of massive attacks in the next 2–3 weeks, indicating that the war is unlikely to end anytime soon. Trump also assured that measures would be taken to ensure Gulf nations do not suffer due to the conflict, and that security will be provided to countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain. He reiterated that these actions are aimed at securing the future of American children and maintained that the US economy remains strong. He described the current fuel issues in the US as temporary. Finally, Trump stated that Iran’s capability to launch missiles and drones has been significantly reduced. He warned that Iran could be pushed “back to the Stone Age” and even said that Iranian oil facilities could be targeted if necessary. He concluded by cautioning that Iran would face severe consequences if it does not come to a compromise.
