Some power projects are being given to people associated with the TDP. Some power projects are being given to people associated with the Jana Sena. Similarly, lands are being allotted to some industries related to the TDP. Lands are also being allotted to some industries related to the Jana Sena. This has led to criticism that coalition government means not governance together, but sharing together. Now, the Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to allot 115 acres at concessional rates in the Mallavalli Mega Food Park to Avisa Foods and Fuels Private Limited, a company owned by the son of Jana Sena MP Balashouri. SIPC has recommended this. It was revealed that this company will invest ₹500 crore and provide employment to 500 people. This investment proposal was approved in the SIPB meeting held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. However, the exact rate at which the land is being allotted is yet to be clarified.
In this company, Anudeep Vallabhaneni is the Managing Director, and Balakoteswara Rao Suda is the Additional Director. Anudeep Vallabhaneni is the son of Jana Sena MP Balashouri. This means land is being given by the government at concessional rates to a company owned by the family members of a Jana Sena MP. In the same meeting held on Thursday, a green signal was also given to RV R Projects, which is going to set up a pumped storage power project in Nandyal. It was mentioned that this company will provide employment to 1,200 people with an investment of ₹4,708 crore. This company belongs to the son-in-law of Nava Yuga Engineering chief Vishweshwar Rao. This company was also allotted contracts worth over ₹4,000 crore in Amaravati.
Meanwhile, MP Balashouri, during the united state period when Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy was the CM, received land from APIIC in Nellore district for setting up a power plant. Later, he sold this project to Jindal Power. What’s strange here is that back then, Chandrababu Naidu, who was the opposition leader, wrote a letter to then CM Kiran Kumar Reddy asking not to transfer the land allotted to Keneta Power to Jindal. Now, the same Chandrababu has decided to allot land in Krishna district's Mallavalli Mega Food Park to the company owned by Balashouri’s son.
