Will Minister’s Intervention End MLAs Land Row?

Update: 2025-11-17 08:50 GMT

How the leadership behaves… the MLAs also behave in the same manner. Because they know each other's matters very well. For the past few days, the issue of land settlements in Jana Sena has been creating a huge uproar. Even before that, Jana Sena chief and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan himself raised the issue of MLAs’ behaviour in a Cabinet meeting. Reports widely appeared in the media that Pawan Kalyan had asked for action to be taken against MLAs, irrespective of which party they belonged to, as some of them were interfering even in private land settlements. Not only in Jana Sena… there are also criticisms and allegations that some TDP MLAs too are interfering in land disputes.

After Pawan Kalyan raised the matter of MLAs in the Cabinet, a land dispute settlement incident that took place in Vizag came out in newspapers. The strange thing here is that a close associate of the head of a party entered the scene in this matter. When the MLA interfered there, he directly filed a complaint. What’s strange is that with these latest developments, the MLAs of that party are fuming. Even while their top leaders are doing whatever they want… they are reportedly angry, asking why their own people are being made to run such shady deals near them, according to reliable sources. Realising the seriousness of the issue, the leadership tried to set the situation in order.

A minister belonging to Jana Sena recently held a meeting with two MLAs in Vizag and reportedly told them to ensure that these land disputes do not come out. It is said that the minister made both the MLAs sit in his car and discussed the matter. Later, some people brought forward a new theory that there is a conspiracy behind these allegations. When those in the opposition make conspiracy allegations, there is at least some chance of believing it. But comments are being heard that it is strange even those in power are making conspiracy allegations. With the minister’s intervention, it remains to be seen whether the MLAs’ land dispute will settle for now… or whether this will escalate further in the coming days.
