Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu has practically hijacked BJP President Amit Shah’s visit to Vijayawada today  to cultivate rapport with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. This meeting has also given scope for speculations in the media that Jagan coming near to BJP and BJP also vexed with Naidu. Even Amit Shah stated during his Telangana tour that their alliance with TDP will continue `for the present’ and  poll alliances will be decided during election time.

This has been sending shivers to TDP leaders. At this juncture, Venkaiah Naidu said to be resorted to `crisis management’ arranging Amit Shah to travel Hyderabad to Vijayawada in the special flight along with Chandrababu Naidu. Though Amit Shah said to be was not interested, Venkaiah personally went to his hotel room early in the morning and persuaded to travel with Chandrababu.

Several state BJP leaders said to be cautioned Amit Shah that continuing alliance with TDP would be costly for the BJP. Stating that TDP is a fastly losing its ground, they stressed urgent steps to take up measures for strengthening the party in the state. Later in the public meeting also, Amit Shah made it clear that BJP should be strengthening in the state.

At BJP public meeting, large number of BJP workers displayed play cards seeking `Save BJP from TDP’.
