Telugu Desam Legislature Party leader A. Revanth Reddy said that the TDP would raise issues concerning common people during the forthcoming budget session of State Assembly. He aid drought, farmers’ suicides, drinking water problem, 2BHK Housing and other issues would be raised during the session. He said that the party would also raise the issue of disqualification of defected MLAs.
Commenting on Telangana’s irrigation pact with Maharashtra, Revanth Reddy claimed that it was N. Chandrababu Naidu, who as the then Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, initiated steps to resolve the inter-state dispute. However, he said Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao is trying to highlight the same as his personal achievement. He alleged that the present pact was against the interest of Telangana State and people would suffer for the next 100 years. He accused KCR of surrendering before Maharashtra State for cheap political gains.
