Home minister Rajnath Singh today categorically blamed Pakistan for the unrest in the Kashmir valley saying that the terrorism in the valley is Pak sponsored. Replying to discussion on the recent violence in Jammu and Kashmir in the Lok Sabha, Mr Singh said Kashmir is the integral part of the country and Pakistan is keeping an evil eye on it.
He said, the neighbouring country instead of fixing its internal matters is trying to destabilize India. He took strong exception for observing Black Day in Pakistan after the killing of Hizbul commander Burhan Wani.He said, the terrorist was involved in as many as various heinous crimes and activities.
Mr Singh sought support of all members to make united efforts to restore peace in Kashmir.He expressed hope the government will succeed in improving the situation with their supports. Expressing deep pain over the loss of lives in the violence, Mr Singh informed that 38 civilians lost their lives and one security personnel died while several other injured in the clashes which followed after Wani’s death.
Brushing aside the opposition allegation that Prime Minster Narendra Modi was on foreign shores, Mr Singh said the Prime Minister was in constant touch with him and giving valuable suggestions to tackle the situation
